Real-life transformations

To have a bit of fun (and to celebrate their hard work of course!) I decided to take a few of my clients on a professional photoshoot. I see these glitzy, perfectly lit photoshoots a lot online, particularly on social media, and asked Laura, Josh and Chris if they’d like to join me on one as I thought it looked like fun.

To accompany their photos, Laura, Josh and Chris have also been kind enough to let me publish a few of their images alongside a small write up about their experiences at FeelGood (so far!). Enjoy!

Meet Tony

Tony’s transformation

Yes, Tony as in me. Where better to start.

I didn’t used to look or feel particularly healthy, although I was passionate about sport and fitness, I would often go straight from the gym or football to get a take-away. How I treated fitness and nutrition was all over the place.

After deciding that it was my diet that was holding me back, I trained in science-based nutrition through the BTN academy. Pairing this knowledge with everything I’d learned about strength and fitness is where FeelGood Coaching & Nutrition started.

Meet Laura

I was getting married in a year, and I wanted to be in the best shape of my life. As a chronic yo-yo dieter and someone who didn’t particularly enjoy strength training, I was hesitant.

Tony was the first personal trainer who really listened to me, asked me about my goals, my fitness history, and my lifestyle. Then, we came up with a plan together that would work for me. Most importantly, Tony kept me motivated throughout my entire fitness journey – even sometimes resorting to bribing me with a prize if I hit my weekly step count!

Fast-forward to now and I am so proud of what I was able to achieve. I lost weight, gained muscle, and improved my overall fitness (including being able to do an unassisted pull-up) and I felt amazing on my wedding day.

Meet Josh

I’ve been working with Tony to increase strength and general fitness.

He provides bespoke training plans which I can access through an app and do at the gym in my own time, and I also have a monthly session at his studio which is great for checking form and monitoring progress.

Tony is very encouraging and always available if I have a question. I’m looking forward to seeing further progress!

Meet Chris

Chris’s transformation

I’ve been working with Tony for almost a year. My aims are to reduce body fat, build muscle and increase my general strength and fitness level. I have two sessions per week at his studio, plus a home workout, which Tony directs and adjusts to suit progress and my aims.

I’ve haven’t had a PT before, but have found the whole experience to be really positive. Tony is great to work with – he’s super-friendly, knowledgeable and offers just the right amount of challenge / encouragement.

I’m really pleased with the results so far.

Started PT sessions with Tony 4 months and can’t recommend them enough. I’ve learnt so much about nutrition and training and gained so much confidence thanks to him. His sessions are always super fun and motivating and there’s been a real focus on realistic positive change. His detailed plans for home work outs and lifestyle changes make leading a healthier life that much easier. He keeps you accountable but in a way that is tailored exactly to you, striking that perfect balance between giving you space to learn and get comfortable, whilst also pushing you to achieve your full potential. Overall I can say that it’s thanks to Tony that I’ve found a genuine love for exercising (which I never thought possible) and and now feel better about myself than I have in years!

Great professional service. Packages are personalised to suit your needs which is excellent. Training 1-1 in the private facility really helped to build my confidence. Learnt a lot about form, technique and nutrition with Tony who is a fab PT. Definitely recommend!

I joined Feelgood coaching after a long period of not going gym. Tony was very supportive and understanding of my motivations to get back into fitness, and provided a really good plan on how to get me back on track. I enjoyed the weekly sessions, they were varied and really pushed me out of my comfort zone. Sessions were fun and we always had a laugh, I couldn’t recommend him enough!

I googled local personal trainers as I wanted someone close to where I live and found Feel good was within walking distance. Ideal, rang Antony and discussed, planned and set goals. Tony is very professional, pushes you to achieve your goals, gives you advise where needed and is an overall great Personal Trainer! ???? 6 months at Feelgood has flown by! Tony has created a bespoke training and nutrition plan for me which has evolved through the year and I’m achieving great results. Tony does all the planning so you don’t have to and gives great advice on technique. I feel so much more confident in a much more varied range of weight exercises than before and I’m consistently hitting PBs. Tony also helped with my Manchester marathon training and diet plan. I’ve been working with Tony at Feel Good for just over 6 months and it’s been a total revelation. In the past I’ve really struggled with confidence and motivation and found that most personal trainers just deliver a one-size-fits-all service. Tony is the complete opposite. We didn’t just jump in to a random programme, Tony took everything into account and spent a lot of time getting to know me and what my fitness goals are. He then tailored a plan specifically for me and my busy life (I have 2 kids under 2!) he was realistic and made it clear that reaching those goals isn’t a quick fix. It takes dedication but he would do everything he could to get me there. Since starting training with Tony I have remained motivated and much more confident. I have progressed so much more since starting my plan with Tony than I have in nearly 10 years of visiting a gym.
